Intensity Is Key to Bodybuilding Success

When performing a workout, your breathing should be more rapid than normal. This should start to happen within the first minute of your workout. Ideally, your breathing should not return to a normal pace until at least ten minutes after you finish your workout. If your breathing pace has not increased, then you are not training rapidly enough. This will seriously reduce your rate of muscle gains.

I have rarely seen guys at the gym willing to train at the required pace. An unwillingness to work hard is the number one reason for lack of muscle gains. To inspire maximum results from training, you must train hard. Your breathing and heart rate must be elevated. But you know what. Such a pace only needs to be sustained for fifteen to twenty minutes. Any additional length will prove a waste of your time and effort.

When I first learned this secret, I focused on this one factor almost entirely. Doing this had a direct impact on all of the other factors involved and really helped me to build muscle fast. Training the largest muscle groups of the body at an elevated pace, until momentary exhaustion, literally forces you to workout briefly. Fifteen to twenty minutes maximum.

By forcing a time constraint on your workouts, you immediately raise your level of intensity. Simultaneously, you will have managed to reduce the amount of time spent training. The absolute opposite of this method is working out six times a week, in a vain attempt to produce greater muscle gains. This is simply not an option. If that was what natural bodybuilding really required, I’d consider it to be a bad use of my time.

Ultra CEMS – Emerging as a Market Leader

Weymouth based Contract Electronics Manufacturer; Ultra Electronics Manufacturing Services (Ultra CEMS) is part of the very successful £300M+ T/o Ultra Electronics plc group of companies.

Ultra CEMS offer high reliability, low to medium volume, turnkey electronic manufacturing services to a wide range of industries including companies from the Aerospace, Defence, Industrial, Instrumentation, Marine, Medical, Measurement & Control, Oil & Gas, Telecoms and Transportation market sectors.

John Dean, Ultra CEMS Customer Support Manager takes up the story: “We have a growing reputation in the low to medium volume, high reliability market sector. High levels of capital investment have enabled us to greatly expand our SMT and conventional throughput and a focus on in-house training has helped to build our reputation for quality. Although we do some manufacturing for other Ultra divisions, it totals only 15 % of our turnover, and we build products for around 20 other major UK OEMs.

As a division of Ultra Electronics plc, Ultra CEMS has significant purchasing power with particular strengths in obsolescence management, global sourcing and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI).

Furthermore, Ultra CEMS has a dedicated IPC training school on site to ensure all production staff are trained to a very high standard. As a result, Ultra CEMS offer all their clients IPC-A-610 Class 3 workmanship as standard.

Products can be manufactured under full material traceability conditions. Component failures in the field can be traced back to specific batches of materials and even which assembly operators assembled the product.

Ultra’s business growth has been dramatic, with many new and larger OEM customers now using their one-stop-shop services.

A third SMT line (capable of 0201 placement) complete with seven zone reflow oven for lead free pcb assembly, a top of the range flying probe test capability and a robotic conformal coating station have all been added to the portfolio of capabilities already on offer at Weymouth. Additionally, a further 3,500 sq.ft of floor space has been opened with plans to add more in 2006.

Dean adds “We are one of the first EMS providers in the UK to develop a fully debugged, lead-free PCB assembly line. One of our customers required a very high melting point solder to be used (in excess of 225C) on the assembly process of their products as a result of the extreme operating temperatures the finished product experienced ‘in situ’. As a result, we developed our lead free capability and have been running our lead free line since July 2004 and now have over 30 products running down it”. This has put us in an excellent position to deliver RoHS compliant solutions for our customers. “Our main strengths are not our processes and capital investment though, but our people, and the high level of personalised service they provide for each customer. We can help our customers by providing low-cost manufacture and test design advice at their design reviews, and we nurse their boards through the often troublesome prototyping phase.”

Ultra CEMS is now recognised as one of the UK’s premier low to medium volume full turn-key contract electronics manufacturers. The company has aspirations to be the UK market leader for high reliability business.

Poker Terms: Taking the Lead

A player in poker hand is said to ‘take the lead’ when they are the first ones to bet into the pot, or ‘open the pot.’ Often the player who takes the lead will be the one who wins the pot, unless that player has the action taken from them by a raise or a reraise.

In general, online poker players who open or take the lead should follow up their bets with continuation bets in order to apply pressure to the pot they have built, unless their opponent react in a way that suggest that they are beat.

Many poker professionals suggest that when you enter a pot, you should enter for a raise, thus taking the lead and increasing the likelihood that you will win the pot. (The idea here being that if you continue to represent a big hand, regardless of what you hold, it will be difficult for your opponent to continue unless they have made a very big hand.)

Taking the lead should not necessarily be an act of blind aggression (though often this will work). Continual reevaluation of your spot as the hand progresses is key the development of winning a pot and in the long run coming out a profitable player.

The NSTP Theoretical Resolution of Zeno’s Paradoxes

Zeno of Elea’s (b.490 BC) arguments against motion precipitated a crisis in Greek thought. All of these, concerning motion, have had a profound influence on the development of mathematics. They are described in Aristotle’s great work ‘Physics’ and are presented as four arguments in the form of paradoxes, stated below :

1. The Racecourse or Dichotomy Paradox -

There is no motion because that which is moved must arrive at the middle of its course before it arrives at the end. In order to traverse a line segment it’s necessary to reach the halfway point, but this requires first reaching the quarter – way point, which first requires reaching the eighth – way point, and so on without end. Hence motion can never begin.

This problem isn’t alleviated by the well – known infinite sum + + 1/8 … = 1 because Zeno is effectively insisting that the sum be tackled in the reverse direction. What is the first term in such a series ?

( See David Darling : The Universal Book of Mathematics, 2004. )

2. Achilles and the Tortoise -

This is perhaps the most famous of the Zeno’s paradoxes.

The slower when running will never be overtaken by the quicker; for that which is persuing must first reach the point from which that which is fleeing started, so that the slower must necessarily always be some distance ahead. Thus, Achilles, however fast he runs, will never catch the plodding Tortoise who started first. And yet, of course, in the real world, faster things do overtake slower ones.

3. The Arrow -

An arrow cannot move at a place at which it is not. But neither can it move at a place at which it is. But a flying arrow is always at the place at which it is. That is, at any instant it is at rest. But if at no instant is it moving, then it is always at rest.

4. The Moving Blocks or Stadium -

Suppose three equal blocks, A , B, C, of width 1, with A and C moving past B at the same speed in opposite directions. Then A takes one time, t, to traverse the width of B, but half the time, t/2, to traverse the width of C. But these are the same length, 1. So A takes both t and t/2 to traverse the distance 1.

( See Simon Blackburn : Dictionary of Philosophy, 1996 )

The German set theorist Adolf Frankel ( 1891 – 1965 ) is one of many modern mathematicians ( Bertrand Russell is another ) who have pointed out that 2,000 years of attempted explanations have not cleared away the mysteries of Zeno’s Paradoxes : “Although they have often been dismissed as logical nonsense, many attempts have also been made to dispose of them by means of mathematical theorems, such as the theory of convergent series or the theory of sets. In the end, however, the difficulties inherent in his arguments have always come back with a vengeance, for the human mind is so constructed that it can look at a continuum in two ways that are not quite reconcilable.”

( See David Darling : The Universal Book of Mathematics, 2004 )

The NSTP Theoretical Resolution of the First Two Paradoxes

Zeno’s paradoxes, except the last two, are not a matter of language or symbolic theories (e.g. set theory) or equations. They are deep rooted in profound concepts, whose appropriate analysis and synthesis shall resolve the paradoxes.

The first two of Zeno’s paradoxes are out of the misbelief that space exists in the ontological sense, i.e. as a reality, out there. In fact, space is a virtual reality, a form/kind of illusion. Consequently (spatial) motion is also a form of illusion ( to non – spatial observer/s ). Thus reality is not constrained by spatial infinities as whatever that is seen as happening in space is a mere illusion, with no resemblance to reality. And illusion could be of any logically possible kind. In other words, the thoughts modulating / creating / responsible for the spatial illusion do not have to bother whether the mover has to first reach half of the distance and so on, or the faster has to first reach the point where the slower started or has infinitely many gaps to traverse, etc. The only thing is that they, the thoughts, produce some dynamic spatial pattern ( actually / physically represented in the form of appropriate non – spatial states of consciousness ), as if a mover moving or the faster overtaking the slower. That’s it.

[ In analogy with today's desktop computers a software programmer / graphic designer do not at all have to worry with Zeno's first two arguments / paradoxes. All s/he has to do is to write a program in order to create / generate an appropriate dynamic / changing pattern on the computer monitor screen. The same is true with the whole universe, whose non - spatial mechanism is stated in the NSTP ( Non - Spatial Thinking Process ) theory. ]

Resolution of the Third Paradox

The first proposition / assumption in the third paradox is false.

Resolution of the Fourth Paradox

In the fourth argument / paradox there is no consideration of speeds ( or the concept of speed ). As A and C are travelling in the opposite directions their speeds add up. And as time taken = distance covered / speed, double speed makes the mover cover the distance in half time.

And even if this solution has any flaw/s then ultimately there is the NSTP theory, with its idea of spatial illusion, to resolve the paradox.

Lysenko and Stalin’s Genetics

Trofim Denisovich Lysenko (1898-1976) was an agronomist. During the reign of Lenin and Stalin years in the Soviet Union, he became the chief proponent of the work of the self-taught plant breeder Ivan Vladimirovich Michurin (1855-1935) and his brand of Lamarckism – a pre-Darwinian theory of evolution of the species proposed in the French scientist Jean-Baptiste Lamarck (1744-1829). He was appointed as the president (1938-56) of the Lenin All-Union Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the director (1940-65) of the Institute of Genetics, USSR Academy of Sciences. The leadership of the USSR believed his promises to deliver rapid increases in crop yields.

Lamarck proposed that organisms can inherit traits acquired by their ancestors. The first giraffes stretched their necks to eat leaves on tall trees. Their offspring acquired this elongated neck and the desire to further stretch it. A species with long necks was born.

The Soviet leadership sought an indigenous theory to counter the “capitalistic” works of Mendel and Charles Darwin and to separate evolution from genetics.

Following a speech he gave at a conference in 1948 denouncing Mendelian genetics as “reactionary and decadent”, Lysenko rose to prominence. Geneticists who opposed Lysenkoism were dispatched to the gulag as “enemies of the Soviet people”. Most confessed to their “errors” in propounding Mendel’s and Darwin’s teachings – and, consequently, kept their jobs.

No one dared challenge Lysenko until 1964 – 9 years after Stalin died – even when he claimed, between 1948 and 1953, that wheat plants can produce seeds of rye. But, as the Encyclopedia Britannica observes, “he and his followers, however, long retained their degrees, their titles, and their academic positions and remained free to support their aberrant trend in biology.”

The Superultramodern Scientific Explanation of the Fundament

Part I

The particle theorists’ explanation of the fundamental forces –

1) Explanation of the force of repulsion –

‘In quantum mechanics, the forces or interactions between matter particles are all supposed to be carried by particles of integer spin – 0, 1, or 2. What happens is that a matter particle, such as an electron or a quark, emits a force – carrying particle. The recoil from this emission changes the velocity of the matter particle. The force – carrying particle then collides with another matter particle and is absorbed. This collision changes the velocity of the second particle, just as if there had been a force between the two matter particles.’ ( See Hawking 1996, p. 90 )

2) Explanation of the force of attraction –

It is the same as the description of the force of repulsion. For example,
‘The gravitational force of the sun on the earth is pictured in particle theories as being caused by the emission of a graviton by a particle in the sun and its absorption by a particle in the earth.’ ( See Hawking 1996, p. 217 )

a) Deficiency –

With reference to the particle theorists’ description of the force of repulsion it is quite simple to see that its explanation of the force of attraction is totally inadequate. By the emission and absorption of graviton the two matter particles would rather go away ( or be repulsed ) from each other.

b) Principal deficiency –

The particle theorists’ model does not at all explain how the matter particle, that emits a force – carrying particle, realises the presence of the other matter particle. In other words, the model does not explain how the emitter of the force – carrying particle knows when to emit a particle.

Part II

The Superultramodern Explanation –

According to the NSTP (Non – Spatial Thinking Process) theory any basic force of attraction or repulsion is just a form of spatial illusion to non – spatial observer/s, where the illusion is modulated or orderly governed by some superhuman thoughts also existing in the form of non-spatial feelings. Any experimental evidence in support of the particle theorists’ explanation is also a form of orderly spatial illusion.

The NSTP theory is at the centre of superultramodern science. (Invention of Kedar Joshi (b.1979), Cambridge, UK)

Nice offer 5000 dollar at a secure loan rate of 6.2 percent

A lot of the merchant banks wil show you a rate that looks beneficial but feels badly or so after a period of time. Be clever today to investigate if you have a nice deal or if you don’t with the moneylender that offers you a money loan. It makes no difference if you live in Auburn Washington or in Harrisburg Pennsylvania a dependable online investigation will spare you often lots of disorder. At present you can look into rates of interest quickly online and foresee if there are other possible traps you should know about. Inspect to see if the merchant bank who wants to give you a loan is beneficial. 16.4 percent rate of interest may come along so bonnie but will it stay unceasing after you’re going to riposte your bank loan. A bank in Memphis Tennessee or so may have a total completely different actual interest rate for a 25000 dollar deferred payment then a bank in Hammond Indiana and that makes a immense clear difference in your monthly pay backs.

This is the reason why now you need to check and get word if you can have a bank loan at a serious percent interest rate.

T1 – Description

A T1 is a dedicated communications connection which can carry up to 24 channels of voice or data traffic at any given time. This is done using 24 separate circuits, each of which has its own unique telephone number. Due to their prohibitive monthly cost and high bandwidth, T1 lines are generally only used in business and office environments.
